The Millworks Cohousing Community

 

MIllworks is a sustainably designed cohousing community located in Bellingham, Washington. Each of the eight homes within Millworks was custom designed and crafted to meet the needs and vision of homeowners, with a focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, optimization of passive solar gain, and a minimal environmental impact. All homes are detached, single-family, ranging in size and design, helping to create a unique feeling of community. Shared amenities allow the homes to be smaller than average, each cohousing member having use of a common house with kitchen, library and study room, guest quarters, and a meeting space. All homes are certified Built Green and ENERGY STAR.
